One week later the label will descend upon the most iconic of all festivals, Glastonbury, to close the Dance Lounge on the evening of Sunday 28th June with a stellar cast of players including Mark Jones, a DJ set from Reverend & The Makers head honcho John McClure, new signings Ocelot, a live set of Mpho’s polymorphous grooves, a techy turn from the irresistible Lottie and the frenetic Infadels.
The final summer outing for the label will see them taking over ‘We Love ….Space’ in Ibiza on the 9TH August. A proper WOS 15th birthday party to end all parties the label will showcase the cream of their line up in The Discoteca in Space featuring Grace Jones gracing the white isle with her jaw-dropping live set, and DJ sets from everybody’s favourite producers du jour, Aeroplane, plus Lottie, Ocelot and of course, Mark Jones.
With even more parties lined up and a very special ‘Wall to Wall’ compilation in the pipeline there’s plenty to look forward to from the Wall of Sound crew before all the candles on their birthday cake are blown out at the end of 2009. |
